When was the last time you played Musical Chairs? At a birthday party when you were a child?  Wasn’t it fun? Wouldn’t it be fun to play it again? Well, you can – this is your chance!!

On Friday, May 14, Quinte Symphony will give you that opportunity at their unique fundraiser, appropriately called, MUSICAL CHAIRS. There has never been an event like this in the Quinte area, and you won’t want to miss it!

During the evening a few lucky people will play Musical Chairs with TD Canada Trust’s signature green leather chair. The main event of the evening will be the auctioning of twenty one-of-a-kind works of art – quality, wooden Muskoka chairs, each designed and painted by area artists.

You will have the opportunity to purchase one… or more! of these wonderful creations, encouraged and cajoled by spirited bidding led by auctioneer, Boyd Sullivan. With themes such as "Moonlight Sonata”, "Butterfly Magic”, "Carousel”, "Paper Bag Princess”, to name a few, there is sure to be something that catches your fancy!  In the weeks leading up to this exciting, not-to-be-missed event, watch for chairs on display in various locations throughout Quinte region including area TD Canada Trust branches.

Thanks to Sandbanks Estate Winery, each ticket purchaser will receive a complimentary glass of wine.  We will also have interesting items available in both silent auctions and raffles!  Occasions by the Bay will provide delicious goodies to nibble on throughout the evening, and there will be musical entertainment throughout the evening.  Decor will be provided by Connon Nurseries.
